Virtual and in-person peer support groups in Alberta
Peer-led Hearing Voices Groups
The Alberta Hearing Voices Network provides Hearing Voices Groups for those who hear voices or have anomalous experiences and is grounded in the ethos of the Hearing Voices Movement. The groups are peer-led and are run by either volunteer facilitators with lived experiences of hearing voices or peer support workers.
Our Values
Our Hearing Voices Groups are grounded in the principles of mutual respect and empathy. The groups are a safe space to share whatever people would like and emphasize social support and belonging. All perspectives are welcome and valued within our groups.
Members are welcome to share whatever they are comfortable with and the groups remain open forums to discuss general topics, voice hearing, and visions. Groups are confidential and what is shared within the group stays inside of the group.

Hearing Voices Groups run on the first Thursday of every month from 6:30-7:30pm and take place virtually over Zoom.
